How It Works

Every EDONKS build follows the same process, whether it's the E1 or yours. Eight steps, no shortcuts.

  1. 01

    Choose Your Car

Donk, box, bubble, or something else on big wheels. Tell us what you're riding and what shape it's in — runs, rolls, or parked under a cover.

  2. 02

    Inspect the Chassis

Frame condition, rust, ride height, and the wheel package get measured and documented before anything is designed.

  3. 03

    Engineer E-Box Config

Battery tier, drive trim, and mount points get specified against your car's body style and the stance you want to keep.

  4. 04

    Install Battery + Powertrain

Pack goes low and centered between the rails. Motor, reduction, and mounts go in next, placed for balance.

  5. 05

    Tune Suspension + Stance

Ride height, rake, and geometry get set for the wheel package — nose up, tail down, the way a donk is supposed to sit.

  6. 06

    Integrate Controls

Inverter, DC-DC, onboard charger, and the low-voltage system that runs your lights, locks, and audio.

  7. 07

    Road Test

Real miles. Thermal checks, brake checks, range validation, and a list of anything that needs another pass.

  8. 08

    Deliver Your Electric Donk

Same stance. Same soul. New current. You drive it home.
